There’s a big difference between the purpose and the benefits of marriage, many people go into marriage for the benefits and not the purpose, when you live a purposeful life you are more likely to reap the benefits in a more fulfilling way and the same applies with a marriage. In some cases people get married because they feel incomplete without a partner or someone to share life with, but relationship status does not define your worth; your identity in Christ does. Preparing for marriage is not merely about finding the right person but also about becoming the right person. Invest in your character, integrity, and values. Seek wisdom from mentors, counselors, and trusted friends - Advice from those with marital experience and Godly Wisdom is best. Cultivate the fruits of the Spirit—love, patience, kindness, and selflessness—that will enrich your future relationship.
