Who Will Get Your Vote: The book of Daniel primarily inspired this analogy....
Blessed Day... Praying for everyone that is reading this message...First order of Kingdom Business: please allow God to use you today so that someone else can come to Christ today with their heart open and ready to receive his love and share that love with others. Second Order of Kingdom Business: Now with your heart posture in check, I pray it's full of love gratitude and honor...Today is Tuesday Nov. 5th, which is Election Day and I'm truly praying for a candidate that although not perfect presents the proper characteristics to carry out policies and structure to effectively govern the people of this country, as believers of Christ we have laws in place that we want to be in alignment with, but we can't have that alignment without love for Christ first, yes Christ is more concerned about our hearts and how we love above obeying his laws, for example having love in our hearts for our neighbors even those who crossover illegally, not calling them disease carriers, or criminals or looking down on them for their actions, but praying for them and praying for those in charge to find a way to help them, even in their wrong as Christ did for us. As we are/were all filthy and wrong, but Christ cared more about saving us over our illegal actions and we should have a person leading our government that handles the needs of people in a proper and loving way/manner. The character of the candidates matter, if I pick a candidate simply because they are against laws that allow an action that goes against the ten commandments (Laws of God) but I'm overlooking the content of that leader's character, which should bring forth the question of why is that person against the law, is it because of a genuine love/concern for people or is it for power or/and a hidden agenda. Looking at the fruit of the spirit is the key, both candidates are of the world (neither claim a relationship with Christ) - so neither are producing a tree full of righteous fruit, but one tree has a whole lot more rotten fruit than the other; from a business perspective I would never want to work for a company headed by Trump over Harris. It's amazing to see that Pence no longer supports Trump, and many Christians claimed they supported Trump (2016) because of Pence being a Christian. Pence like Daniel interpreted the writing on the wall (Daniel 5:26) for all the Christian Trump supporters; and with the awakening (Jan. 6, 2021, at the forefront of the list) he made the correct and conscious decision to cut ties from Trump. It's such a critical time for not just this nation but this world, and we need a person/people in government that will lead with wisdom, someone consistent with presenting a humble and respectful nature...Yes everyone needs to have Christ 1st leading the way, but even Christ knows force isn't the key to get people to do what is right, Christ gives everyone the option to choose following Him or not. For that reason I'm going to vote for the candidate that throughout their political career has remained true to representing the most caring and respectful nature for all people even when their opponent chooses the lesser road, the candidate who kept a stance that remained strong and professed hope even with degrading opinions and disrespect. Prayers up for everyone to get the message and for Christ to fully lead every heart of every person that professes Him in this and every election season.
Here are some key scriptures that can help when choosing leaders and government officials (and yes these still can be applied to those who don't fully live for Christ) - Galatians 5:22-26; Phil. 1:9-11; 1Timothy 3:1-13, Psalms 82
Matthew 22:2 [Christ while living among us showed how to properly respond/react to government matters that were unbiblical.]
The following scriptures reference worldly leaders that can help us properly evaluate the current candidates of this election (researching each candidate without the sole influence of news/media is highly recommended for sound judgement) - 1 King 11; 2 Chronicles 10; Daniel 1 to 5.
